This incredibly thick coaster stock showed so much detail with just a blind press that I almost didn’t want to add ink. The design initially came from the original Bottoms Up Softball Club logo, who hosts this annual hold’em tournament, and then I added a border to make it look more like a poker chip. Letterpress printed and custom die-cut into 4″ circles on Heidelberg windmills, these machines handled both the printing and die-cutting with perfect registration on two different presses, showing off how well they perform with substrates more than twice as thick as anything that can be run through an offset press.
